Test Engineer (Android, Java, Automotive Infotainment)
Requirements:
Good knowledge of Java and experience testing Java applications
Experience with Android environments, especially virtual platforms
Familiarity with ADP interface
Ability to analyze and test based on defined Use Cases and Requirements
Strong attention to detail and debugging skills
English proficiency (min. B2 level)
Nice to Have:
Background in Automotive infotainment systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Tradefed
Project description:We are hiring Test Engineers to join an international team working on the Android-based Infotainment System. The role involves testing interconnected infotainment apps such as Navigation, Speech, and App Store within the Android ecosystem.
You will execute functional and performance tests, monitor CPU and memory usage, and work within a virtual Android Cuttlefish environment using the Tradefed test framework. Initially, testing will be manual with a plan to transition toward test automation and CI/CD integration. The project is currently planned to run until December 31st, 2025, with a possibility of extension depending on customer needs.
Main responsibilities:
Conduct manual and automated tests on Android infotainment applications
Verify interoperability between multiple interconnected apps
Support performance testing (CPU and memory monitoring)
Work in a Cuttlefish virtual Android environment
Use the Tradefed test framework for test execution
Contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipeline integration
Attend on-site meetings at the customer’s office from time to time
