Technical Expert / Developer – Kondor+

We are looking for a Technical Expert / Developer to join our Financial Markets practice in Warsaw. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical design, development, and integration of Kondor+ (Finastra/Teciem) within complex IT landscapes at major financial institutions. Working closely with functional consultants and client IT teams, you will deliver custom developments, interfaces, and technical solutions that extend and integrate the Kondor+ platform. This is a hybrid position, combining office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of technical development experience on Kondor+ (Fusion Kondor / K+), including custom windows, Open Reports, interfaces, and scripting

• Solid knowledge of Kondor+ technical architecture: application server, database layer, pricing engines, event framework, and batch processing

• Hands-on experience with Kondor+ development tools: Custom Window Framework, Open Report Designer, Kondor+ scripting (Groovy), and API/SDK usage

• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Groovy; experience with JEE / Spring environments

• Proficiency with Sybase or MS SQL databases: SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning in a Kondor+ context

• Familiarity with Kondor+ integration patterns (KIS, FpML, FIX, MQ, REST APIs)

• Experience with Unix/Linux environments including shell scripting and batch scheduling

• Knowledge of middleware and messaging technologies: MQ Series, Kafka, or equivalent

• Ability to design and implement interfaces between Kondor+ and external systems (treasury/trading platforms, data warehouses, BO&accounting system)

• Clear communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kondor+ cloud deployment or containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)

• Good understanding of capital markets products (FX, MM, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities) sufficient to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Exposure to other capital markets platforms: Murex, Calypso, Summit, Sophis, or Front Arena

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a financial services context

• Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for Kondor+ production environments

Main responsibilities:

• Participate in technical analysis of client requirements and design scalable Kondor+ technical solutions in line with the target application landscape

• Develop custom Kondor+ components: custom windows, Open Reports, pricing scripts (Groovy/Java), workflow extensions, and automated batch processes

• Design, build, and maintain interfaces between Kondor+ and external systems: internal banking platforms, back-office and accounting systems, risk engines, and reporting databases

• Integrate Kondor+ within complex, multi-application IT architectures; ensure smooth data flows and STP (Straight-Through Processing)

• Contribute to the documentation and validation process: technical specifications, code reviews, unit tests, and technical handover documentation

• Support the installation, configuration, and upgrade of Kondor+ environments (dev, UAT, production)

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents in Kondor+ production and pre-production environments
