Solution Train Engineer (STE)/Scrum Master

Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary Solution Train Engineer (STE) to join our high-scale organizational ecosystem. This role is critical to orchestrating large-scale solution delivery within our Fabric Operating Model. You will operate at the center of a complex, multi-train environment, ensuring that multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and external suppliers are aligned and moving in sync to deliver value.

As a servant leader of leaders, you will drive strategic alignment across our most ambitious initiatives, shaping how complex systems are built and delivered in a fast-paced, DevOps-driven environment.

Requirements:

• Deep, hands-on expertise in SAFe, Scrum, and Agile frameworks, with a proven ability to adapt them to complex, real-world organizational environments.

• Demonstrated experience in servant leadership, with a strong focus on collaboration, empathy, and empowering others.

• Expert-level coaching and facilitation skills within large-scale Agile environments.

• A pragmatic, agile mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex challenges.

• Extensive knowledge of process improvement practices and strong familiarity with the Fabric Operating Model.

• High proficiency in mediation and conflict resolution to foster a healthy, collaborative culture.

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices aimed at improving delivery speed, quality, and reliability.

• Proven experience in analyzing delivery metrics to drive performance improvements and modernize traditional delivery models.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Main responsibilities:

• Drive continuous improvements in flow and throughput, maximizing performance and delivery efficiency across the entire Solution Train.

• Build and sustain high levels of operational excellence by measuring, coaching, and developing teams in the Fabric Operating Model, SAFe, Agile frameworks, and DevOps practices.

• Lead large-scale planning events (e.g., Solution Planning, PI Planning) and oversee iteration execution, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and delivery timelines.

• Own and prioritize the Continuous Improvement (CI) backlog, using delivery data and metrics to enable data-driven decision-making.

• Proactively identify, manage, and resolve complex dependencies, bottlenecks, risks, and impediments that may impact delivery.

• Provide stakeholders with clear visibility into backlog status, team maturity, overall performance, and organizational health.

• Take ownership of the effectiveness and performance of the delivery leadership team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to other STEs, RTEs, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, and Agile Coaches.
