Splunk is here to build a safer and more resilient digital world. The world's leading enterprises use our unified security and observability platform to keep their digital systems secure and reliable. While customers love our technology, it's our people that make Splunk stand out as an amazing career destination and why we've won so many awards as a best place to work. If you become a Splunker, we want your whole, authentic self, what we call your "million data points". So bring your work experience, problem-solving skills and talent, of course, but also bring your joy, your passion and all the things that make you, you.

    Role Summary

Bring your talent and experience to the Splunk docs team! We engage with our peers throughout the profession to challenge assumptions and provoke discussions about the best ways to develop information, connect with customers, andaddress challenges in the industry.

Technical writers on our team play a vital role in helping Splunk customers configure and manage their products. Splunk platform writers enable the success of technically-minded users including system administrators, data analysts, and knowledge managers. You should have the technical background required to engage directly with software engineers, product managers, and knowledgeable power users of Splunk software. You must be comfortable working in an Agile environment and tracking the work of multiple scrum teams throughout the software development and release cycle.

You will be a great addition to the Splunk Product Experience organization if you:

    • Write clear and accurate English-language documentation that enables customers to use and manage Splunk software effectively and efficiently.
    • Integrate quickly with new scrum teams to learn their subject matter and build productive working relationships.
    • Independently plan, manage, and deliver documentation for Splunk supported add-ons, connectors, and products developed in the Krakow office.

    • Follow an established style guide and work with editors to create the best possible documentation for customers.
    • Respond directly to user feedback in email and Slack and integrate user suggestions to continuously improve your documentation.

    What you’ll bring

    • Ability to manage time and priorities in a dynamic development environment at a fast-paced company.
