Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer / Full Stack Engineer to join an international Agile team working on the development of a modern API platform for business banking customers. 

The role is based in Tricity (Gdańsk or Gdynia) with a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office). We are also open to candidates based in Warsaw. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Java Developer / Full Stack Engineer, you'll join a strategic digital transformation initiative focused on delivering modern API-based services for business customers. You will be part of an Open Banking development hub responsible for building a new, unified company API platform used across multiple international markets.

You will work within a dedicated Agile team in a distributed digital hub environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of continued recent experience in development and software engineering, preferably in large corporate institutions

• Strong collaboration skills with a passion for working in a team-oriented environment

• Solid understanding and practical experience with modern backend technologies including: Java 21, Spring Boot, Microservices, Oracle, Git, Maven and Jenkins.

NICE TO HAVE

• This is a backend-focused role, with frontend expertise being an additional asset

• Experience with Java Reactive programming. Hibernate/JPA

• Experience building highly available applications, TypeScript, Modern Frontend Framework (Angular/ React), Docker, Kubernetes, MQ.
