Infrastructure Automation Specialist

Join the client's team in the maritime and logistics industry and take part in automating and managing enterprise hybrid infrastructure environments across cloud and on-premise platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and configuration management

• Automate infrastructure services such as:

  • Active Directory access management

  • SSL certificate lifecycle management

  • Domain controller promotion

  • Server patching (Cloud & On-Prem)

  • Windows and Linux server management

  • Server provisioning and decommissioning

• Automate deployment and configuration of virtual machines across Azure, AWS and on-premise environments

• Develop automation for infrastructure monitoring, alerting and health checks (Compute & Network)

• Implement logging and observability solutions to improve system reliability and scalability

• Perform performance tuning and infrastructure optimization

• Provide advanced technical support for automation-related issues

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Security and Architecture teams

• Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures

• Support system upgrades and automation-driven continuous improvements

• Plan and implement automation needs based on infrastructure growth

• Provide guidance and training to Service Desk teams as part of Shift-Left strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of commercial experience in IT Infrastructure Engineering or Infrastructure Administration

• Proven experience in infrastructure automation

• Hands-on experience working in hybrid environments (Cloud + On-Prem)

• Experience with automation and IaC tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or Bash

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments (Linux knowledge is a plus)

• Experience in server lifecycle management (deployment, patching, monitoring, decommissioning)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team

• Proficiency in English (B2+/C1)

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent professional experience

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Active Directory automation

• Experience with Exchange On-Prem environments

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools

• Experience in security patching automation and vulnerability management

• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure compliance practices
