    Job description

    Online interview

    We are looking for WebLogic Experts to join Sopra Steria Apps Services teams and work on one of our international projects.

    Project 1: You will work in an international environment and become part of a team that develops an application used by more than 500 customers and manufacturers for one of the biggest banks in Netherlands.

    Project 2: You will work with a maintenance team supporting and maintaining one of the biggest security solutions implemented in all Schengen Zone countries.

    Note that we can offer cooperation only to people located in Poland.


    Activities:

    • Preparation of deployment scripts, playbooks, and procedures for new releases
    • Access management for development and testing environments, including RBAC (Linux/Unix, Windows)
    • SVN & GIT management (updates, provide accesses, storage monitoring)
    • OS configuration and maintenance for Unix/Linux
    • Security audit related configuration - Patching of OS and COTS; handling of Firmware patching
    • Handling backups
    • Managing and maintaining the application layer
    • Configuring Oracle products (WebLogic, OSB, SOA Suite)


    • Monitor WebLogic domains health status/customize monitoring for specific needs
    • Configure, optimize, test and troubleshoot WebLogic related systems via ticketing
    • Maintain and amend procedures and internal documentation
    • Reporting to TL and/or management team 
    • Write and maintain custom scripts or identify tasks to be automated to lower the human intervention time
    • Participate in meetings and training related to EC environment 
    • Participate in shift and on call rotation 
    • Liaise with other technical teams for problem resolution 
    • Provide customer support for applications running on WebLogic servers (WebLogic 12)

    Must have requirements:

    • Configuration and maintenance CI/CD
    • Good command of Linux and Unix based systems
    • Web services security
    • Good knowledge of WebLogic
    • JMS Message Protocol knowledge
    • Base knowledge of PL/SQL
    • Experience working with Azure (DevOps)
    • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
    • Experience with monitoring systems (Nagios, Icinga)
    • Basic scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Python)
    • Strong ‘can-do’ attitude and good communication skills 
    • English B2/C1 
    • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice
    • EU Citizenship
