Software Engineer with React and Node

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Sopra Steria team for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

Tech Stack on the project:

1. React
2. Node.JS
3. HTML/CSS
4. TypeScript
5. JavaScript

Responsibilities:

1. Implement solutions and deliver high quality software.
2. Help to define requirements and implement software designs.
3. Shape and apply our software standards of clean code and performance optimization techniques.
4. Develop customer relations and ability to transfer knowledge and provide support.
5. Take into account transformation challenges when performing work.

Must have requirements:

1. At least 2-3 years of experience with React and Node.JS,
2. Solid IT technical background,
3. Being able to start immediately,
4. Proactiveness, strong “can-do” attitude and good communication skills,
5. Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA),
6. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process,
7. Fluent English B2,
8. Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office (2 days/month) in Katowice.

Nice-to-have requirements:

1. Experience working in a distributed and international team.
