Senior Vue.js Developer

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer proficient in Vue.js to join Sopra Steria team for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams.

Our scope is to develop applications that support pilots and crew, the airline in planning the flights, airports operations in modern technologies in mainly 2 streams: with frontend on Vue.js/TypeScript and backend in .NET and Java. All applications are deployed to AWS Cloud.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

Mission/activities:

• Implement solutions and deliver high quality software
• Help to define requirements and implement software designs
• Create and test software to enhance the solution and all related modules and services
• Working with UI/UX designers
• Shape and apply our software standards of clean code and performance optimization techniques
• As a Scrum team member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of implementation

Tech stack of the project:

• Vue.js
• TypeScript
• AWS: AWS lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda Functions and other AWS services are used
• Microservices-based architecture
• .NET 
• Entity Framework
• GitLab, CI/CD in code, Jenkins/Cloud bees
• Terraform/CloudFormation, Artifactory
• End to end testing with Selenium, Python and Gherkin (high test coverage required)
• Static code analysis, SonarQube.

Must have requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of experience in software development with Vue.js
• Solid IT technical background
• Git knowledge
• Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)
• Strong “can-do” attitude and good communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Fluent English B2/C1
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice/Gdańsk

Nice to have requirements:

• .NET knowledge (big plus)
• Entity Framework experience (big plus)
• AWS experience (big plus)
• Unit testing frameworks knowledge (Jest, Vitest)
• Python knowledge
• Experience of working in a distributed and international team
