Job description
Mission: We are looking for open-minded engineers willing to join Sopra Steria Infrastructure team to support cloud environments (public and private). Be part of scrum team to support Public Cloud Infrastructure.
Tasks:
Support DevOps teams:
- Be part of scrum team and act as AWS Infrastructure guru for the team
- Prepare architecture for new implementations
- Deploy and configure infrastructure components
- Optimize existing and propose cost effective solutions for dev team (server and serverless)
- Use good communication skills to familiarize developers and rest of scrum team with the possibilities of public clouds (understand needs and later propose and explain the most effective architecture)
- Deploy and support Devops toolset (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Ansible and similar)
Optionally: support cloud projects:
- Design and build cloud architecture based on customer needs
- Support public cloud operations (mainly AWS, Azure)
- Perform security audits
- Perform migrations from on-premise to public cloud
- Support Sopra Steria private cloud
- Provide consulting service
Location: Katowice, hybrid/full HO model
