Business Analyst with German

Project abstract/business context: We are looking for a Business Analyst with German to join Sopra Steria team for one of our foreign clients. You will be working on a project related to the banking and financial area. The project is held in an international environment, for one of the main market leaders in their industry.

Mission/activities: You will be identifying business requirements for the development team. The main source of requirements is an existing application with a back end implemented in Visual Basic 6. 

You will work with stakeholders on the business side, architects and developers of the original application to document what was implemented in the original application and for what purpose. 

You will assist the lead architect of the new solution to make design decisions based on your understanding. 

You will also be involved in testing and project preparation and delivery.

• Backend: Visual Basic 6 (VB6) and Java 21 
• Frontend: JavaScript, GO
• Databases: MS SQL Server
• Frameworks: Message Queueing (nsq)
• Knowledge repository: Docsy 
• Version control systems: GIT 
• Methodology: Agile
• Issue tracking tools: Gitlab

Must have requirements:

• Min. 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of German at C1/C2 level
• Knowledge of English at B2/C1 level
• Ability to go occasionally on business trips and to our office 
• Very good communication skills
• Proactivity, ownership and self-management

Nice to have requirements:

Experience in understanding the banking domain.
