Backup Infrastructure Engineer with French

We are looking for a Backup Infrastructure Engineer to join the Sopra Steria Polska team and contribute to a project for a leading French telecommunications company.

Tech stack on the project:

• Cisco UCS
• VMware and its products, including vCenter, vRA, vRO, vROps (supervision), vRLI, vRN, NSX-T
• OpenShift (Red Hat)
• Pure Storage
• NetApp
• Rubrik

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzing backups in the Rubrik environment
• Troubleshooting backup-related issues
• Restoring files and entire virtual machines
• Installing and configuring backup agents
• Collaborating with Rubrik support for incident escalation
• On-call duty outside working hours paid extra

Requirements:

• Knowledge of backup and data recovery concepts
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Good command of French and English (min. B2)
• Knowledge of OpenShift and Pure Storage is an additional advantage
• Willingness to learn VMware and Cisco UCS technologies

Work system:

Hybrid, the office is in Katowice
