About the role. You will:

• Implementing and customizing core insurance systems such as TIA, INSIS and others, depending on the project.

• Create, modify, and optimize procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in the Oracle database using PL/SQL.

• Work with business analysts and other developers to build efficient and stable solutions.

• Participate in the analysis of requirements and the design of new solutions.

• Support testing and software deployment processes.

• Apply Clean Code principles, perform code reviews, and support automated testing/deployment processes.

• Be an active member of an agile project team (Scrum/Kanban).

You will use:

• Oracle PL/SQL

• Git, Jenkins and similar

• PL/SQL Developer, Oracle SQL Developer

• Oracle Database and WebLogic application server

About the requirements. You need:

• At least two years of commercial experience with PL/SQL.

• One year of commercial experience in Object-Oriented Programming, preferably using Java.

• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices.

• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

• Fluency in English (B2/C1 level at least).

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

• Availability to work full-time.

• Ability to work in the European Union.

About the wishes. Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with Oracle Forms and/or ADF frameworks

• Experience with TIA or INSIS platforms.

• Familiarity with Web Services (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns.

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks for the database (e.g., utPLSQL).

• A background in Financial Services or the Insurance industry.

• Eagerness to stay updated with the latest Oracle features and software engineering trends.
