About the role. You will:
Implementing and customizing core insurance systems such as TIA, INSIS and others, depending on the project.
Create, modify, and optimize procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in the Oracle database using PL/SQL.
Work with business analysts and other developers to build efficient and stable solutions.
Participate in the analysis of requirements and the design of new solutions.
Support testing and software deployment processes.
Apply Clean Code principles, perform code reviews, and support automated testing/deployment processes.
Be an active member of an agile project team (Scrum/Kanban).
You will use:
Oracle PL/SQL
Git, Jenkins and similar
PL/SQL Developer, Oracle SQL Developer
Oracle Database and WebLogic application server
About the requirements. You need:
At least two years of commercial experience with PL/SQL.
One year of commercial experience in Object-Oriented Programming, preferably using Java.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Fluency in English (B2/C1 level at least).
Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Availability to work full-time.
Ability to work in the European Union.
About the wishes. Nice to haves:
Familiarity with Oracle Forms and/or ADF frameworks
Experience with TIA or INSIS platforms.
Familiarity with Web Services (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns.
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks for the database (e.g., utPLSQL).
A background in Financial Services or the Insurance industry.
Eagerness to stay updated with the latest Oracle features and software engineering trends.
