💡 About the Project

Join an Agile development team building advanced underwriting tools for a global underwriter community.These tools model the underwriting process transparently and integrate it with real pricing mechanisms.

Team use a microservice architecture with Java, Kotlin, and Spring on the backend, and Angular, NodeJS, Express, Fastify on the frontend.

Tech Stack:Java 11 / 17, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, RabbitMQ

🧩 What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement large-scale, complex backend applications based on REST microservices (Java, Kotlin, Spring)

• Collaborate within an Agile team, working closely with BAs, POs, QAs, Front-End Engineers, and UX Designers

• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability

• Monitor product quality, perform code validation, and apply design patterns

• Contribute to technical discussions and continuous product improvement

• Communicate actively with stakeholders across different levels and backgrounds

• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

🧠 Your Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)

• 10+ years of experience as a Backend Developer

• Strong proficiency in Java Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA / Hibernate, RabbitMQ

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis

• Proven experience building distributed systems and microservices architectures

• Hands-on experience in API design, maintenance, and operation

• Good knowledge of relational databases and query optimization

• Experience with testing, validation, and monitoring product quality

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

• Experience working in Agile environments (SAFe framework is a plus)

• English proficiency: B2 or higher

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kafka

• Experience providing architectural solutions

• Willingness to learn Kotlin and Quarkus
