User Experience is an often cited factor driving our unprecedented customer retention rate. We have built industry leading data tools and visualizations and are looking for experienced engineers that will help us build the next generation of exceptional user interfaces.
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can join our efforts in continuing to lead the industry in ease-of-use and customer delights.
AS A SENIOR FULL STACK ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:
- Build an industry-leading data platform that customers love
- Learn about and contribute to:
- Super-robust and secure enterprise SaaS platform that services hundreds of customers and millions of complex queries daily
- Highly-scalable and reliable data processing platform that runs on hundreds and thousands of machines
- User interfaces bridging the enterprise world with the consumer experience
- Collaborate with other software engineers, product managers, test engineers and product designers
- Actively participate in the team processes and technical discussions
- Estimate and participate in releasing next versions of the platform, communicating all challenges and breakdowns
- Join a world-class team of both industry veterans and rising stars
- Support the recruitment process with your technical knowledge and experience
OUR IDEAL SENIOR FULL STACK ENGINEER WILL HAVE:
- At least 5+ years experience in software development
- At least 3+ years experience in web UI application development
- Distributed system development experience is a big plus
- Understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design patterns, performance and scale
- Strong coding skills in Typescript, React, Node, Express
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker
- Additional experience with Python, Go or Java/Kotlin is a plus
- Tremendous attention to details and ability to build reliable and scalable software systems
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Solid interpersonal skills conducive to a team environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Self-motivation, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving
- Willingness to share knowledge within the team, creating space and taking initiatives to encourage others to share
- Experience and knowledge of Git, JIRA and Jenkins is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving software engineering or equivalent practical experience
SALARY
We believe all Snowflake employees have an impact in the long-term success of Snowflake, which is why new hire equity is designed to be a considerable part of your annual compensation. When the price of Snowflake stock rises, we are all rewarded.
At Snowflake, equity is an important part of our total compensation package which is comprised of:
- Base salary
- Bonus target or sales commission target
- Equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
The total target monthly compensation range for this job is 25 000 - 50 000 PLN
The final compensation offered will vary based on individual experience, skills, and job-based knowledge.
