Mobile QA Engineer – iOS

Scope:

• Creating, implementing, and maintaining test plans, approaches, and strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage.

• Understanding product requirements thoroughly and raising valid questions to clarify ambiguities.

• Working closely with developers, UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure delivery meets specifications.

• Contributing to automated test frameworks to validate both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Troubleshooting, identifying critical bugs, verifying reported issues, and analyzing root causes.

• Producing clear, descriptive, and concise test reports evidencing product functionality.

• Keeping stakeholders informed of status, issues, and risks in a timely manner.

• Following and promoting QA best practices within the team.

Skills:

• Proven experience in creating and implementing test approaches, strategies, and plans.

• Minimum 3 years testing experience with native iOS mobile applications.

• Solid understanding of mobile testing practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• At least 3 years experience in automated testing, with readiness to work using XCUITest.

• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers, designers, and product owners.

• Excellent communication skills and experience in resolving cross-team issues.

• Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams, including planning, executing, and reporting on test strategies.

• Experience configuring and running jobs in Continuous Integration tools (e.g., CodeBuild, GitHub Actions).

• Proficiency in Swift programming for mobile test automation.

• Experience with Pact contract testing.

• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
