Integration Engineer

My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated permanent low-code Middleware Integration Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in developing, configuring, and maintaining integrations across various platforms using low-code solutions.

You will play a crucial role in driving the automation and efficiency of business processes while ensuring seamless integration between various systems and applications.

This is a remote role but you are required to be based in Poland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement low-code middleware integrations between various internal and external systems, ensuring data flow and processes run smoothly.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and design scalable and efficient integration solutions using low-code platforms.
• Platform Configuration: Configure and manage low-code middleware platforms (such as Microsoft Power Automate, Mendix, WebMethods, Boomi or others) to meet integration needs, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for the integration systems, identifying and resolving issues related to connectivity, data mapping, and process flows.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of integration solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to existing integration processes and middleware architecture, identifying opportunities to optimise performance and reduce manual intervention.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes, including configuration guides, troubleshooting steps, and user manuals.
• Testing: Conduct integration testing to validate the functionality and performance of integration solutions, ensuring they meet the specified requirements and quality standards.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience working with low-code middleware platforms, such as Microsoft Power Automate, Mendix, Boomi, WebMethods or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of integration concepts and techniques, including REST APIs, web services (SOAP, REST), message queues, and data mapping.
• Experience in creating and managing workflows, automating business processes, and integrating cloud-based and on-premises applications.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and working with databases, including querying and managing data.
• Familiarity with integration patterns, protocols, and standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to document technical solutions clearly and concisely.
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with security standards and practices for integrations.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, such as JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Certifications or training in low-code platforms or middleware integration tools.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
