Tech Lead

About the role

We're looking for Tech Lead who will drive technical direction for assigned team — from database design to UI — and take accountability for scalability, performance, and code quality.

This is a hybrid role based in Kraków — 2–3 days per week from the office.

Requirements

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of experience in PHP – production, at scale

• React (preferably TypeScript) – real feature delivery, not just maintenance

• PostgreSQL – schema design, complex queries

• prior Tech Lead experience – architectural decisions, cross-functional delivery, mentoring

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Flutter or mobile development.

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.

• DevOps & CI/CD experience (Kubernetes, Docker, CI pipelines).

• Background in product-oriented, agile environments

Key expectations

• You drive architecture, not just review code

• You translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa

• You decompose epics into actionable tasks and support sprint planning

• You actively use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) in your daily workflow

• You work directly with PM, QA, mobile, and stakeholders – including clients
