Junior Patch Manager (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Junior Patch Management Engineer to support patching and update activities across IT infrastructure environments. The role is ideal for candidates at the beginning of their IT career who want to develop skills in system administration, security, and automation.

Your tasks

• Manage end-to-end patching lifecycle (planning, testing, deployment, reporting)

• Deploy OS and application updates across Windows Server and end-user environments

• Operate and maintain patching tools such as SCCM / MECM, WSUS, or Intune

• Monitor patch compliance and ensure systems meet security and audit requirements

• Perform risk assessment and impact analysis before patch deployment

• Troubleshoot patching issues and coordinate with infrastructure/application teams

• Automate patching processes using PowerShell scripting

• Maintain documentation and generate regular patch status reports

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability remediation

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Windows Server and Windows 10/11 in an enterprise environment (basic operational level)

• Understanding of patching/update processes (Windows Updates, WSUS, SCCM exposure is a plus)

• Basic knowledge of Active Directory (users, groups, basic tasks)

• Fundamental PowerShell skills (running scripts, simple modifications)

• General understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (servers, endpoints)

• Ability to follow procedures and work with documentation

• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Willingness to learn and develop in IT infrastructure/patch management

• Openness to office-based work: 4 days per week during onboarding, then 2–3 days per week

• Fluent English and Polish required

Nice-to-have requirements

• First experience with SCCM / Intune / WSUS

• Basic knowledge of IT security/vulnerabilities

• Internship or Service Desk / IT support background
