Java Developer with Vaadin

We are looking for a Java Developer with strong Vaadin expertise to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining advanced internal systems used within a leading high-tech company. Our team focuses on innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement of processes that directly impact the efficiency of R&D operations. 

We build solutions used widely across engineering teams, as well as dedicated tools supporting specific business areas.

Your tasks

• Performing regular updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure high performance and security of internal systems

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions

• Designing, developing, and implementing new features aligned with evolving internal requirements

• Proposing improvements to enhance system usability, stability, and efficiency

• Supporting planning, scheduling, and tracking development tasks within ongoing projects

• Collaborating with team members and cross-functional teams to unify the approach to internal test systems development and maintenance

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Java development

• Strong proficiency in Vaadin and Spring Boot, supported by commercial project experience

• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs (Spring MVC, RESTful Web Services)

• Practical experience with unit and integration testing (e.g., JUnit)

• Solid understanding of Git and experience working with CI/CD pipelines

• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

• Creativity, analytical thinking, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• English proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation

• Fluent Polish required

• Residing in Poland required

Nice-to-have requirements

• Experience with Atlassian Confluence

• Commercial experience with Node.js or MongoDB
