Data Engineer with IICS (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data processing solutions that support analytics and business operations. In this role, you will work extensively with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to integrate, transform, and orchestrate data across cloud and hybrid environments. By joining our specialized unit within the Data & Analytics Competence Center, you will collaborate with experts in data processing and analysis, while also having the opportunity to grow in areas such as Data Science, Big Data, and Machine Learning.

Your tasks

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using IICS

• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, cloud platforms)

• Build and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability

• Ensure data quality by implementing validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms

• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver data for reporting and advanced analytics

• Maintain technical documentation and data processing standards

• Support and manage data environments (dev/test/prod)

Requirements

• Min. 4 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role

• Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts

• Ability to debug and optimize ETL processes

• Fluent English (both written and spoken)

• Fluent Polish required

• Residing in Poland required

Nice-to-have requirements

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)

• Knowledge of Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures

• Expertise in Informatica Cloud Application Integration

• Previous work with dbt (data build tool)

• Experience working in Agile environments
