CMDB Consultant (f/m/x)

ServiceNow Competency Center provides services to customers from various industries in Europe and the United States. We specialize in improving customer platforms, optimizing and digitizing process flows, and expanding platform usage within the customer organization. Our experience spans across ITSM / ITOM / ITAM / HRSD / SecOps / SPM / CSM modules.

Sii cooperates with a global client from the tobacco industry on a large-scale IT transformation focused on improving service management and data quality. We are looking for a CMDB Consultant / IT Project Manager who will play a key role in building and optimizing CMDB capabilities, driving automation, and ensuring alignment between IT services and business needs in a complex, international environment.

Your tasks

• Provide strategic guidance on CMDB data quality (accuracy, completeness, compliance) to support ITSM processes

• Design and implement automation solutions to improve CMDB data maintenance and operational efficiency

• Collaborate with the Service Management Office to enhance processes, automation, and data quality for Business Applications

• Oversee service mapping and relationships between Service Offerings, Applications, and Business Services

• Manage CMDB-related elements within ServiceNow (Service Offerings, Business Applications, Groups, Request Catalog)

• Lead CMDB projects end-to-end (planning, execution, monitoring, closing) in a hybrid Agile environment

• Coordinate multiple vendors and actively drive improvements in architecture, processes, and data governance

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Demonstrated knowledge of CMDB within large-scale organizations

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (CMDB, CSDM, Service Catalog)

• Solid understanding of data quality principles and service modeling

• Practical knowledge of JIRA (JIRA Service Management is a plus)

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (SAFe is a plus) and hybrid delivery models

• Good understanding of IT infrastructure architecture and ITSM processes (ITIL knowledge preferred)

• Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills

• Proactive attitude, analytical mindset, and ability to challenge technical solutions

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Residing in Poland required
