Node.js / NestJS Developer

Role Overview:

As the Nest.js Developer, you will take the helm of one of our project development team, leading the charge in creating applications tailored to our diverse clientele. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive project initiatives, ensure code quality, and contribute to architectural design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of customer-facing application, prioritizing feature enhancements and integrations.
• Act as a proactive leader of the development team and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Drive innovation through research and development initiatives.
• Participate in product workshops and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
• Foster a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Required Skills:

• At least 3+ years of experience in commerce projects.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with modern ECMAScript standards and programming patterns.
• Proficient with version control systems, particularly GIT.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (B2/C1+).
• Curiosity and a drive to understand the underlying principles of technology.
• Positive attitude, with a passion for achieving results and driving success.
• Experience with Nest.js and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT tokens.
• Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures, such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or gRPC, is a plus.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles is highly desirable.
• Agile/Scrum approach experience.
• Experience with Sentry, APMs, or equivalent observability tools.
• Experience in proptech is a plus
