Senior Integration Engineer - NodeJS

For our client operating in the healthcare industry, we are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to work on integration mesh cloud development and interface development for a Consumer Health Data Assets Analytics and AI platform.

Location: 100% remote

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement integration mesh solutions.
• Collaborate on data integration processes including data analysis, transformation, and validation.
• Design and implement REST-like APIs.
• Work with distributed systems and understand their design patterns.
• Utilize GitHub tool suite for version control and CI/CD processes.

Expectations:

• 3+ years of experience in NodeJS (server-side JavaScript) development.
• 2+ years of experience in data integration (data analysis, data transformation, data validation).
• 1+ year of experience working on distributed systems with a deep understanding of their design patterns (robustness, scaling, elasticity, consistency, replication, asynchrony, parallelism, failure handling).
• 2+ years of experience in REST-like API design and implementation.
• Solid knowledge of GitHub tool suite, including branching concepts, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and working with issues/tickets.
• Basic knowledge of Linux command line tools and shell scripting.
• Optional: Familiarity with design, development, and maintenance of Terraform infrastructure-as-code configurations for AWS services.
• Basic knowledge of design, development, operations, and troubleshooting with AWS services (Must-have: Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, S3; Good-to-have: DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Streaming Services).
