• Partner closely with Private Equity deal teams and leadership to transform strategic questions into rigorous analytical frameworks - informing decisions worth millions.

• Build and operationalize advanced AI/ML models (machine learning, LLMs, Generative AI, simulation, optimization) that extract value even from messy, unstructured, high-dimensional data.

• Work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world impact - applying techniques like time-series forecasting, topic modeling, graph/network analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, and NLP in high-stakes, under-explored PE contexts.

• Lead end-to-end delivery - from data pipelines and experimentation to deployment and decision-ready insights that withstand investor scrutiny.

• Own scalable methodologies - creating reusable frameworks that sharpen our proprietary analytics advantage.

• Cooperate with other teams - working in a highly collaborative way with consulting and analytics teams to create the best solutions

Your Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade analytical and modeling solutions across complex, real-world business problems - ideally within Private Equity or adjacent domains.

• Deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning (e.g., random forests, deep nets, latent class analysis), NLP, topic modeling, optimization, and simulation.

• Capability in data visualization and storytelling - immersed in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom dashboard solutions to translate technical output into strategic insight.

• Advanced programming skills: Python and SQL proficiency, with experience building efficient pipelines and scalable deployments.

• Fluency in handling large, incomplete, and unstructured datasets. Familiarity with distributed computing is strongly preferred.

• Strong track record in PE-relevant analytics: market sizing, revenue segmentation, margin/pricing analysis, churn/LTV modeling.

• Exceptionally strong communication skills - comfortable distilling complex methods into decision-ready narratives for C-suite and investor audiences.

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, or related quantitative field.

• A mindset centered on innovation - eager to pilot novel AI approaches and push the boundaries of applied data science in investing.
