Test Automation Engineer (ConnectWise)

We are looking for a Strong Middle QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team and help us develop one of our web applications. In this role, you will be a part of a global team that works to develop and support the best possible product for our clients.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in commercial software quality assurance and automation testing, specifically for web applications

• Proficiency in test analysis and test design

• Solid understanding of and practical experience with behavior-driven development

• Strong proficiency in Python programming

• Strong experience with Playwright

• Strong understanding of web application architecture

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools for integrating and running automated tests

• Understanding of web application security best practices

• Experience with Git or other version control systems

• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Would be a plus

• Familiarity with test management software (e.g., TestRail)

• Experience with performance, load, or security testing

• Experience testing ReactJS

• Familiarity with containerization technologies

• Knowledge of cloud platforms

Responsibilities

• Build test cases and test plans for a web application

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive, scalable, and reliable web UI automation scripts using existing Python, Behave, and Playwright frameworks

• Configure the pipeline for QA automation execution

• Analyze test runs results and troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues with QA automation

• Optimize auto-tests performance and improve their stability

• Work in close collaboration with software developers, test engineers, product managers and designers to ensure a high level of test coverage, correctness, and reliability

• Participate in feature acceptance testing

• Ensure the quality level of the releases
