Senior Test Engineer (Food delivery platform)

Project

The project focuses on enhancing and maintaining a web-based platform that streamlines office meal ordering and delivery. The solution integrates with restaurants, supports customizable meal options, and ensures efficient logistics. The team works closely with the Customer to refine features and improve user experience.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience testing large and complex web applications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA

• Experience in API testing (GraphQL)

• Advanced knowledge of testing techniques and methodologies

• Strong SQL skills — able to confidently write complex queries for testing and data validation

• Ability to review code changes (PRs) and understand testing impact

• Ability to perform API checks to validate backend behavior (not the core focus)

• Solid experience in writing clear test documentation

• Strong experience in test planning and estimation

• Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English

• Ability to work independently in a remote team and under time pressure

• Availability to work extended hours on a bi-weekly basis

• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues with different teams, identify root cause, and find effective solutions

• Attention to detail (from data to pixels)

• Proactive approach to continuously improve and optimize work and processes

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web UI, APIs, and data

• Write and maintain test documentation

• Participate in grooming sessions and collaborate on specifications with the Product Manager
