Senior DevOps Engineer (eHealth Sector)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in building and operating scalable, high-performance cloud platforms. In this role, you will contribute to a rapidly growing healthcare solution expanding from 1,000 to over 100,000 customers.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance within a regulated healthcare environment.

ProjectThe project focuses on transforming an existing cloud-based healthcare platform into a highly scalable, production-grade system capable of supporting over 100,000 customers. It integrates microservices, advanced messaging, and real-time data processing to deliver mission-critical applications to healthcare professionals. The infrastructure is Azure-based and requires expert-level optimization for performance, security, and compliance.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer

• Proven, in-depth, hands-on experience with Azure resources, especially AKS at scale

• Expertise in PostgreSQL (Azure managed databases) at scale

• Strong knowledge of Kafka cluster management at scale

• Proficiency with ArgoCD for GitOps workflows

• Experience with Terraform for IaC

• Skilled in Helm charts for microservices deployment

• Proficient in GitLab CI for build and release pipelines

• Strong background in security and compliance for cloud-based platforms

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

Will be a plus:

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure

• Prior work in high-growth SaaS environments

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Azure, focusing on AKS at scale

• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL (Azure managed databases) for high-volume workloads

• Configure and maintain Kafka clusters for large-scale messaging and streaming

• Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for automated deployments

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform

• Create and manage Helm charts for microservices deployment

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI

• Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all infrastructure and deployment processes

• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate new features into production

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve infrastructure performance and reliability
