We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to work with a highly dynamic AdTech ecosystem, aiming to protect the digital world from malvertising.
This role involves direct collaboration with clients, in-depth analysis of web traffic, identification and neutralization of anomalous behaviors linked to malicious bots, fraud patterns, and malvertising campaigns. You will also play a key part in identifying and neutralizing harmful bots and online threats.

Our client provides comprehensive security solutions designed to protect individuals, organizations, and communities from digital threats. Operating across various sectors, the company addresses vulnerabilities and ensures protection against a wide range of risks, especially in the digital space. Their products focus on bot defense and anti-malvertising solutions specifically for AdTech companies. They support onboarding and integration processes for different partners, including Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), agencies, and publishers. They offer protection solutions for a variety of use cases, along with a customizable reporting console and APIs that can be seamlessly integrated into clients’ systems.
Responsibilities
Investigate advanced and persistent attacks using advanced data analysis and data science tools
Research, design, and enhance detection mechanisms to stay ahead of emerging threats
Analyze Customer traffic to identify undetected threats and false detections, using mostly ElasticSearch and BigQuery (SQL)
Participate in go-to-green projects together with Engineering, Research and Customer Success teams
Support Customers (Tier 2) in real-time, providing professional technical responses
Work side by side with Customers, providing insightful incident reports
Communicate with global Customers and provide quick responses and resolutions
Work with cross-functional R&D and Research teams to optimize company’s ability to detect and mitigate real-time cyber attacks
Design, plan, and implement projects and automation for internal use
Be prepared to work shifts (including weekends)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / Cybersecurity Analyst / Cybersecurity Researcher, or a similar role
Proficiency in building dashboards using BI tools such as Redash, Looker, Imply, or Kibana
Strong Python skills for data analysis
Proficient in SQL, including writing complex queries and user-defined functions
Solid understanding of web architecture and protocols, including CDN, HTML, DOM, JavaScript, HTTP/HTTPS, and IPv4/IPv6
Strong knowledge of web security and security research, including web application security, bot management, and fraud detection
Experience with security research methodologies, including hypothesis testing, verification, and awareness of bias
At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
Would be a plus:
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery and Snowflake
Practical experience of using Jupyter Notebooks
Basic knowledge of JavaScript
