MS Dynamics Developer (m/f/n)

We are looking for a MS Dynamics Developer (m/f/n) to join an international military-political organization (NATO).

London, UK – relocation is required.

Duties & Role

• Customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including data structures, frameworks, and development tools such as Visual Studio, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Unified Developer Experience (UDE), and Power Platform Admin Centre (PPAC).

• Participate in all phases of the Dynamics 365 F&O implementation lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.

• Develop, enhance, and stabilise core Dynamics 365 F&O modules including Procurement & Sourcing, Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, General Ledger, Budgeting, Payments, and Travel & Expense.

• Extend and enhance standard Dynamics 365 modules through customisations using X++ and C#, following coding standards and maintainability best practices.

• Design and build integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and external systems using Power Automate, Dataverse, virtual tables, and RESTful APIs.

• Create and maintain automated workflows and approval processes using Power Automate and native F&O workflows.

• Design, maintain, and optimise Data Entities and Data Management Framework (DMF) pipelines for data import, export, and reporting.

• Develop low‑code solutions using Power Apps and leverage Power Platform and emerging AI capabilities to enhance ERP processes.

• Customise and maintain document templates and outputs such as purchase order confirmations, financial journals, reports, and Excel/Word exports.

• Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and third‑level support for Dynamics 365 applications.

• Consult with clients and end users on technical and functional aspects of Dynamics 365, including participation in user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skill, Knowledge & Experience

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus at least 3 years of post‑related professional experience OR at least 10 years of equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience developing, customising, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.

• Strong proficiency in X++ and C#.

• Hands‑on experience with Data Entities, Data Management Framework (DMF), and structured reporting in Dynamics 365 F&O.

• Experience supporting finance and procurement workflows, approval logic, compliance, and audit‑ready ERP processes.

• Experience working with Power Platform tools including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and virtual tables.

• Experience with Visual Studio, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Unified Developer Experience (UDE), and Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).

• Experience across all phases of ERP implementation and in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong communication skills; work conducted primarily in English.

Desirable

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master).

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (Developer Associate, Solution Architect Expert).
