Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer
We are currently looking for a Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer to join an exciting long‑term project delivered for a European Union organization. This is a unique opportunity to work in an international, highly secure and innovative environment.
IMPORTANT: Working on this project requires a security clearance classified as EU Secret or the initiation of the security clearance process after starting work. We'll be happy to provide you with more information during your interview.
Tasks:
Develop efficient, reusable and maintainable code.
Ensure high code quality through code reviews and SonarQube checks.
Continuously improve existing services and propose optimizations.
Create unit and integration tests to ensure stable development and deployment processes.
Use GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and scripting to automate deployment and analysis tasks.
Implement automation for configuration, monitoring and orchestration processes.
Collaborate closely with architects, system administrators and development teams.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and sprint reviews.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and maintain proper technical documentation.
Technical skills:
Strong, hands‑on AWS experience (AWS certifications required).
Service management experience (ITIL or similar).
Windows & Linux system administration.
DevSecOps expertise.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).
Configuration management (Ansible).
Strong understanding of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTPS).
Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP.
Hands‑on experience with containers (Docker, Podman) and Kubernetes clusters.
Experience with GitLab pipelines.
Solid understanding of IT security principles.
Practical software development experience (Git, Python, TypeScript).
Experience with AI development, agentic solutions and delivery of AI at scale.
Nice to have: Azure experience (Terraform, automation).
Experience:
Minimum 5 years as a DevSecOps Engineer.
Proven collaboration in agile environments.
Soft skills:
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
Experience in community management, support or communication handling.
Strong team player.
Education & requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
EU citizenship — mandatory.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional EU languages is an advantage.
What we offer:
B2B long-term contract.
Rate up to: 420 - 440 EUR/day nett.
Remote work + monthly trips to Luxembourg (2–3 days) and onboarding on‑site. Trips to Luxembourg at the Consultant's expense.
