DevSecOps Engineer – Financial Services

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support secure engineering, automation and CI/CD delivery within a financial services environment. The role focuses on improving build and deployment processes, strengthening development tooling, and contributing to secure, scalable platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimise Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop and support internal tools and services using Node.js.

• Embed DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle.

• Automate build, test, deployment and security workflows.

• Contribute to secure design and architecture for cloud and on‑prem environments.

• (Optional) Support development of internal IntelliJ/Eclipse plugins.

Essential Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD.

• Solid Node.js development background.

• Experience with Python scripting.

• Understanding of secure SDLC and DevSecOps tooling.

• Knowledge of cloud and on‑prem deployment patterns.

• Familiarity with design patterns and modern engineering principles.

Nice to Have

• IntelliJ/Eclipse plugin development experience.

• Kotlin or Java exposure.

• Experience working within regulated or security‑focused environments.
