Data Engineer

What will you be doing?

• Create, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data.
• Design and manage relational and non-relational databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Build and optimize data architectures for analytics, reporting, and machine learning.
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and manage data solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• Create detailed documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and data governance policies.

Must-have requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, MS Fabric.
• Proficiency in working with MS Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Kubernetes, Azure Data Factory, and cloud storage solutions (data lake, data warehouse, data mart).
• Hands-on expertise with ETL Tools, specifically Azure Data Factory, and orchestration frameworks like Dagster, Prefect, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies, and tools such as Unity or DataHub for cataloging and metadata management.
• Experience with Delta Lake/Parquet formats and Medallion-based data architecture for scalable data solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub or Azure DevOps for version control and deployment automation.
• Professional English proficiency both written and spoken (min. B2+/C1).
