Data Architect

What will you be doing?

• Design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures to meet customer needs, leveraging best practices for cloud environments.
• Assess and optimize customers' Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows, providing guidance on Terraform, YAML files, and other frameworks supported by Spacelift.
• Lead assessments of on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to develop tailored migration and modernization roadmaps.
• Drive cloud-native modernization initiatives and lead engagements for Spacelift adoption, including deploying and configuring Spacelift private workers.
• Develop a virtual envelope capable of embedding IaC frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to streamline infrastructure management.
• Provide technical leadership and advisory to customers in areas such as cloud, DevOps, and SRE practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions.

Must-have requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
• Expertise in MS Azure Cloud (Azure Kubernetes, Data Factory, cloud storage).
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, and on-prem solutions.
• Proficiency in Terraform, YAML, and CI/CD tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Medallion-based data architectures.
• Familiarity with Data Catalogs (Unity, DataHub) and data governance.
• Knowledge of tools like Dagster, Airflow, and Grafana for workflows and monitoring.
• Docker for containerization, REST APIs for integrations.
• Professional English proficiency both written and spoken (min. B2+/C1).
