We’re excited to be launching a brand new IT & Security unit at Schibsted Tech Polska, following the split of Schibsted into two Nordic powerhouses - a major media house and a dynamic marketplace leader. Our mission is to establish a proactive, data-driven team that plays a strategic role in supporting the business while maintaining close and direct communication with our parent organizations. About the role

This will be a primary engineering role, in charge of developing our core IT landscape and SaaS management practices. We’re looking for people who want to embrace that challenge and oversee a critical part of our business operations.

Technical Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain complex digital workplace infrastructure leveraging Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and enterprise MDM platforms. Architect integrated solutions that enhance collaboration, security, and user productivity through advanced technical implementations.

Platform Engineering: Develop sophisticated integration strategies for collaboration tools, implementing low-code solutions that address unique organizational requirements. Create technical roadmaps for platform evolution, ensuring alignment with emerging technologies and business objectives.

Systems Integration: Build and maintain integration frameworks connecting collaboration platforms, identity management systems, and enterprise applications. Develop automation scripts and custom tooling to streamline digital workplace operations.

Technical Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concept implementations, and recommend cutting-edge solutions that enhance our digital workplace capabilities.

Cybersecurity Management: Work with CyberSec Engineering to improve the security and compliance of IT infrastructure systems, focusing on zero trust and ZTNA as target frameworks.

About you

Technical Expertise: Exceptional technical skills in cloud-based collaboration platform engineering. Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, identity management systems, and complex integration architectures.

Engineering Proficiency: 7+ years of hands-on engineering experience, with an advanced understanding of at least 3 of the following domains:

• Google Workspace Management 
• Slack Management
• Jira/Confluence Management
• MDM Device Management
• Okta/Ping Identity/Jumpcloud or other IAM/SSO provider management

Programming skills with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or JavaScript would be considered an advantage.

Architectural Design: Proven track record of designing scalable, secure digital workplace architectures. Experience in creating comprehensive technical solutions that address complex organizational challenges.

Workflow Orchestration: Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated user and device provisioning and deprovisioning processes, Knowledge of Low-code or No-code automation solutions like Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, N8N, Tray, Workato or custom API-driven workflow orchestration would be considered an advantage.

Fluency in Polish and English is also required

We work in a hybrid way and would like to catch up with you at our vibrant and colourful office in Gdańsk 2 days per week. This is an essential part of the role, as it supports collaboration and team engagement. If you're not the working-from-home type, you're of course welcome to join us in the office every day. Candidates should be based within a reasonable commuting distance to our Gdańsk office.
