Regular / Senior Java Developer

At Scalo, you can expect the following:

• participation in a project in the logistics / eCommerce industry related to the development and expansion of a Warehouse Execution System (WES) for large, automated warehouses,

• used technology stack: Java 8+, Spring, ActiveMQ, Linux, Oracle, PostgreSQL, REST Webservices, Jenkins, GitHub,

• project carried out in an international development team cooperating with QA and architects,

• designing, developing, and maintaining high-throughput backend applications,

• analysis and development of existing system components and designing new functionalities,

• creating Proof of Concept solutions for new technologies,

• supporting QA and Infrastructure teams in deployment processes,

• maintaining high code quality and technical documentation,

• remote support and troubleshooting of client-side systems,

• 100% remote work with mandatory readiness for on-site work in a rotational model (1–2 weeks on-site, followed by several weeks of remote work) near Poznań and occasionally in the Czech Republic – all travel costs covered,

• rate: 27–33 GBP NET (+ VAT if applicable) on B2B depending on experience.

This offer is for you if:

• have at least 6 years of commercial experience as a Java Developer,

• have very strong knowledge of Java and Spring (Spring Boot),

• have experience working with microservices-based architecture,

• have worked with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and messaging systems (JMS / ActiveMQ),

• have experience working with high-throughput systems,

• are familiar with SDLC processes and agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban),

• communicate fluently in English (minimum B2+/C1),

• are ready for periodic on-site work in accordance with a rotational schedule.
