Automatic Speech Recognition Product Owner – Voice Intelligence Research

• Working in a Natural Language Processing R&D team developing and testing Bixby Intelligent Assistant,
• Communication, reporting and negotiations with R&D teams, external stakeholders, Samsung overseas research centers and Korean headquarters,
• Analyzing performance results, identifying market trends, proposing project directions, managing risks, organizing tests, planning and coordinating work of developers,
• Undertaking data analysis tasks where knowledge of Excel or basic programming skills would be advantageous (Python of R is a plus),
• Accommodating impact of nuances of various languages to the project requirements and schedule,
• Identifying risks, blockers, bottlenecks and actively solving them,
• Managing and improving the ASR bug-fixing process
• Maintaining ASR post-processing models
• Drawing actionable insights from real-usage logs' analysis and product specification
• Designing and supporting the implementation of new technical features and requirements
• Coordinating acoustic and language modelling tasks
• Investigating and proposing technologies and solution for maximizing ASR performance metrices
• Organizing quality assurance tests and activities
  
  

• Seniority level - Medium
• Master’s Degree in a field of Engineering, Economical Sciences or Management,
• Experience in IT, Software Development or other Engineering domains,
• Understanding software development lifecycleand continuous integration practices,
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities,
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills,
• Knowledge of the Linux text shell and selected scripting languages (Perl, Bash, Python),
• Good knowledge of English spoken and written,
• Fair competency of version control systems (Git) 
• Knowledge French and/or German at A2 level (or above) that allows performing tasks consisting of language resources processing
• Knowledge of textual representation of grammars, regular expressions and other basic text processing techniques.
