The Team:
The DS CFP (Data Services Carfax for Police) is part of the Data Services group. The Data Analyst is a part of the Data Services Team which manages and executes the onboarding and support of police agency accident data. This involves complex research and analysis, strategic thinking, and strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments and as part of a team. The group works with Software Engineers, Data Quality Analysts, and the CFP Business Operations team to support relationships with Police agencies across North America.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Support management and team in all aspects of Carfax Playbook; Serve as a trusted resource and mentor for the team
Responsible for data intake management, helping to organize work levels and flows
Work effectively with a team; provide feedback to team members, communicate with partners and teammates on updates of projects daily
Confirms that every phase and feature is tested, acceptance criteria is met, and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live
Serves as liaison with Software Engineers and Account/Technical Account Manager teams
Analyze, review, and monitor data quality and accuracy to determine if files are in the correct format
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
1 or more years of testing experience, manual and automated processes.
3-5 years of previous Data Management experience, including ETL Systems Management
General knowledge of Snowflake, MySQL and Oracle; able to write select, insert, and delete statements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to present to stakeholders
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Snowflake, Coalesce, and AWS setup and maintenance experience
Ability to read and understand Java or an object-oriented programming language
Python experience - development and test automation
Experience working in Agile development teams using methods like Scrum, and Kanban.
