Test Expert / QA Lead (ServiceNow & Azure DevOps)
Location: Candidate must reside within 2 hours travel time from Warsaw
Rate: Up to 125 PLN/h + VAT (B2B)

🚀 Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Test Expert to take full ownership of the Quality Assurance process in a complex IT environment. This is not just an execution role – you will be responsible for defining the Test Strategy, setting up the test management ecosystem, and leading testing activities across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep expertise in ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and SQL, capable of managing both functional and non-functional (performance/stress) testing.
📜 Key Requirements (Must Haves)
Location Constraint: You must be based within a 2-hour travel radius of Warsaw.
Certification / Experience Rule (One of the following is mandatory):
ISTQB Advanced Level certificate (e.g., Test Manager or Test Analyst).
OR an equivalent internationally recognized credential.
OR at least 3 years of additional experience in Test Management (above the standard senior level).
🛠 Technical Expertise
Platforms: Hands-on experience with testing the ServiceNow platform.
Tools: Proficiency in Azure DevOps Test Plans and experience in setting up test management tools from scratch for new projects.
Data: Hands-on experience with creating complex SQL queries for data validation.
Testing Scope: Expert knowledge of the full testing spectrum:
Unit & Integration Testing.
Functional, Acceptance (UAT), and Regression Testing.
Performance and Stress Testing.
📋 Responsibilities
Strategy & Management:
Define the Master Test Plan and design the testing strategy.
Analyze functional and technical system designs to ensure testability.
Select and configure appropriate testing tools and environments.
Report on test progress, quality trends, and risks to stakeholders.
Execution & Analysis:
Implement, execute, and debug application test cases and scripts.
Validate completion of development tasks against acceptance criteria.
Document tests, track defects, and interpret results.
Collaboration:
Cooperate closely with Architects, Developers, and Service Desk teams.
Provide comprehensive test documentation.
Lead the QA aspect of complex projects.
