If you’re a Senior Java Backend Developer who enjoys green-field challenges, architectural ownership, and shaping how teams build software, we’d love you to join us and co-create the server-side foundation of our next ventures, including our in-house AI-native development system.

What you’ll do as a Senior Java Backend Developer

• Code smarter and ship faster with Claude Code, Cursor/Windsurf, and any ingenious tools you bring to the team.

• Design and build robust APIs, microservices, and server architectures in Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud).

• Develop our AI-native platform for developers, with your feedback and features feeding directly into the product roadmap.

• Collaborate remotely with frontend developers, designers, PMs, and engineers across Poland and Saudi Arabia on multiple ventures simultaneously.

• Own the backend lifecycle: architect, implement, optimize, monitor, and scale.

• Champion best practices in API design, database optimization, security, and DevOps automation.

  
  

You might be a good fit if you

• Have 7+ years of professional experience building production, distributed, event-driven Java applications and RESTful APIs.

• Are proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and modern backend design patterns.

• Have solid knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and backend architectures such as microservices, serverless, and event-driven systems.

• Are experienced with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/logging systems.

• Have already experimented with Claude Code or other AI pair-programming tools - and can’t imagine going back to coding without them.

• Node.js experience is a plus - familiarity with backend JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems is welcome.

• Communicate confidently in English; Polish is a bonus, as many teammates are based in Poland.

• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where switching contexts and wearing multiple hats is part of the fun.
