Senior UX Researcher (AI Products)

We are hiring a Senior UX Researcher to lead discovery and validation across AI-driven products within our venture portfolio.

This role focuses on understanding how people interact with AI systems and ensuring our products solve real user problems in trustworthy and effective ways.

You will study how users interpret, trust, and rely on AI-powered experiences, helping product and engineering teams build systems that are intuitive, reliable, and aligned with real user needs.

This role is part of the product discovery and validation function, supporting product managers, designers, and engineers with evidence-driven insights.

You will define research standards, lead user studies, and ensure AI-powered features are grounded in real user behavior.

This is a senior-level role requiring independent ownership, strong research expertise, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Discovery Research

• Lead early-stage research to understand user needs, workflows, and decision-making patterns

• Identify real problems AI can meaningfully solve for users

• Translate research insights into clear product opportunities

• Support product teams in framing and validating hypotheses

Validation & User Testing

• Design and run usability studies for AI-powered experiences

• Evaluate conversational interfaces, AI assistants, and automated decision systems

• Identify friction, confusion, and trust breakdown points in user interactions

• Provide clear recommendations to improve product experience

Human–AI Interaction Research

• Study how users interpret AI responses and recommendations

• Evaluate how users form trust in AI systems

• Identify when users rely on AI and when they disengage

• Research explainability, transparency, and feedback mechanisms

AI Behavior Observation

• Evaluate how AI responses impact user decisions and confidence

• Identify hallucinations, unclear reasoning, or misleading outputs from a user perspective

• Provide structured feedback to product and AI teams to improve system behavior

Research Strategy & Leadership

• Establish research frameworks that support continuous discovery and validation

• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and AI engineers

• Ensure research insights directly influence product decisions and roadmap priorities

• Help build a strong research culture across the organization

Measurement & Continuous Learning

• Define user-centered success metrics (task success, clarity, trust, usability)

• Run experiments to validate improvements in AI-driven experiences

• Track how product changes influence user behavior and adoption

• Contribute to post-launch learning and iteration cycles
