Technical Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Defining the product vision and strategy, and communicating it to the development team and stakeholders

• Making key decisions about the product, such as which features to develop and when to release the product and creating and prioritizing the product backlog, based on customer needs and business value

• Working closely with stakeholders, such as customers, users, and sponsors, to gather feedback and requirements

• Communicating progress to stakeholders, and ensuring that everyone is aligned on the vision and strategy

• Analysing data and user feedback to continuously improve the product

• Ensuring that the product meets regulatory and compliance requirements

• Support Project Managers in budgeting and forecasts

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed studies in informatics or a comparable course of study

• You have working experience as a Product Owner or similar role at last two years. As well you should have a technical background as Developer or Tester

• You have to inherently enjoy working with and talking to other people (clients, colleagues, and any other stakeholders)

• High tolerance for change (last-minute adjustments, altering of requirements, etc.) and everyday project ambiguities and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and sound knowledge of Jira. Knowledge about Trello or Asana is a plus

• Good knowledge of the full development process in one of the following languages Java, Java Script, C#, Python. Understanding the IT terminology.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders

• Very good  English skills and willingness to travel complete your profile. German language is a plus.

• Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 2 visits in the Katowice office per month
