D365FO X++ Developer

Responsibilities

You will join our ERP team, working on the development, customization, and operation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) solutions for one of Europe’s largest retailers.Our setup is characterized by close collaboration between developers, product owners, and business analysts, working in agile release cycles to deliver scalable and reliable solutions that support critical business processes in finance, supply chain, logistics, and retail.

In your role, you will:

• Design, develop, and extend D365FO modules using X++

• Work with tables, classes, forms, reports (SSRS/Electronic Reporting), and data entities

• Customize standard functionalities and implement new features in alignment with business requirements

• Use Lifecycle Services (LCS) for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting

• Collaborate in the D365FO Development Environment (Visual Studio, Application Explorer)

• Integrate D365FO with external systems using Data Entities, OData, Webservices, Logic Apps

• Work with the Data Management Framework (DMF) for data migration and integration

• Collaborate in an agile environment with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) for CI/CD

• Ensure quality through unit and integration testing, code reviews, and documentation

• Actively contribute to product design and solution discussions with product owners and analysts

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience as a D365FO Developer with in-depth knowledge of X++

• Strong understanding of D365FO architecture and data model

• Proficiency in SQL with experience optimizing database performance

• Experience with Azure DevOps and version control (Git)

• Familiarity with data integration and migration using DMF and related technologies

• Strong quality awareness, including testing, documentation, and adherence to coding standards

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile, international setup

• Fluent English and Polish (written and spoken)

• Experience with Azure platform integrations

• Industry knowledge in retail or logistics

• Openness to hybrid work and regular visits in Katowice office
