Technical Product Owner

Location: Remote with possibility of relocation to London in the future

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Product Owner to join our team. This is a senior role that connects technology and business. You will work closely with our Chief Technical Officer and our external development agency. Your main job is to turn our product vision into clear and detailed input for developers, and to make sure our legal technology products are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the main link between our team and the external development agency.

• Turn product ideas and business needs into clear instructions for developers.

• Answer developer questions about product features, design, and technical choices.

• Work with the agency’s Project Manager and Business Analyst to keep tasks clear and aligned.

• Support the Chief Technical Officer in making sure technical choices fit the long-term product strategy.

• Give input and feedback during the whole development process, from design to testing.

• Check that finished features meet both business goals and technical needs.

• Help with product backlog prioritisation, balancing value and technical limits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or similar role in SaaS or tech companies.

• Strong background in software engineering, able to discuss technical decisions with developers.

• Good understanding of business processes and how to turn them into technical solutions.

• Experience in legal technology is required.

• Experience working with external development agencies or remote teams.

• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills, able to connect technical and non-technical people.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-changing environments.
