Technical Manager .NET + React

Please note it's now remote role but later turns into hybrid - so only candidates from Warsaw and surroundings are required.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Manager with deep expertise in .NET technologies and modern React frontend development. This role is ideal for a strategic technologist who thrives on leading high-performing engineering teams, driving architectural decisions, and delivering scalable, performant web applications using Microsoft's .NET ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Guide architecture and design for applications built with React (frontend) and .NET Core/Framework (backend), using Graphql and RESTful APIs.

• Team Management: Mentor, grow, and manage a team of engineers working across the .NET/React stack; establish best practices in development and collaboration.

• Project Execution: Own delivery of complex fullstack features, ensuring quality, security, and performance within tight deadlines.

• Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to define technical scope and delivery plans.

• Code & Architecture Reviews: Ensure clean, maintainable code and scalable architecture; enforce coding standards and design patterns consistent with .NET best practices.

• Scalability & Performance: Design for scalability and optimize applications for high performance and user experience using .NET optimization techniques.

• Innovation: Introduce modern tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve team efficiency and product quality within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Risk Management: Proactively identify technical risks and bottlenecks; develop mitigation

  strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Expertise:

● 10+ years in software development with significant experience in .NET and React development

● Advanced proficiency in:

- React.js with Hooks, Context API, and modern React patterns

- .NET Core/.NET Framework and C#

- ASP.NET Core Web API and MVC

- Entity Framework Core or Entity Framework

- SQL Server and database design

● Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript

● Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services

● Experience with asynchronous programming patterns in both .NET and React

● Working knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and containerization (Docker)

● Experience with Git, version control, and DevOps practices

● Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture

● Knowledge of SignalR for real-time applications (preferred)

● Experience with RxJS (preferred)

Managerial & Leadership Skills:

● Proven success leading agile software teams in fast-paced environments

● Ability to coach and grow developers across varying skill levels

● Strong project management skills – scope definition, estimation, and execution

● Excellent stakeholder communication and status reporting

● Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with iterative delivery

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

● 8+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on .NET and React in the last 5+ years

● 3+ years in a technical leadership or managerial role

● Microsoft certifications in .NET, Azure, or related technologies (preferred)

● React or frontend development certifications (preferred)
