Senior React Native Engineer

We are changing mobile entertainment. We use AI to turn Hollywood movies and TV shows into short, fun episodes made for mobile phones. This market is growing very fast, even faster than gaming and music. We are supported by leading investors, experienced founders, and global media partners. Our goal is to build a new streaming app with games and short, story-based content.

We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to join our mobile team. You will help build and improve our app, used by millions of people around the world. You will create a smooth and engaging experience, similar to TikTok, but focused on premium entertainment.

What you will do

• Develop and improve our React Native app for iOS and Android.

• Build fast and scalable video features like feeds, streaming, subtitles, offline mode, and video players.

• Create modern UI/UX for vertical video and short-form content.

• Work closely with backend, AI, and product teams to deliver features for many users.

• Make sure the app is high quality, well tested, fast, and reliable on all devices and networks.

  
  

What we are looking for

• Required: At least 5 years of mobile development experience, including 3 years with React Native.

• Experience working on large B2C apps, gaming apps, or e-learning apps.

• Strong knowledge of mobile video, streaming, social apps, or TikTok-style user experiences.

• Good understanding of app performance, animations, offline use, and adaptive streaming (HLS/DASH).

  
  

Core technical skills

• Strong experience with React Native internals:

  • Rendering process, bridge vs JSI, Hermes, and Fabric.

  • Performance testing with tools like Flipper, Xcode Instruments, and Android Profiler.

• Experience with high-performance UI:

  • Video-first design, TikTok-style feeds, gesture-based navigation.

  • Advanced animations using Reanimated and Gesture Handler.

• Experience building video and streaming features:

  • Adaptive streaming, buffering, and app lifecycle handling.

  • Managing memory and background/foreground behavior.

• Strong performance optimization skills:

  • Reducing re-renders, memory issues, and JS thread problems.

  • Offline-first design, caching, and stable networking.

    
    

Native and platform experience

• Ability to write and maintain native code in Swift/Obj-C and Kotlin/Java.

• Experience integrating third-party SDKs (analytics, ads, payments, video, push notifications).

• Good understanding of differences between iOS and Android.

• Experience with streaming platforms.

• Knowledge of personalization, recommendations, or content systems.

• Experience with subscriptions, coins, or ad-based monetization.
