Senior Fullstack Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong skills in React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.

In this role, you will build features from start to finish. This includes planning, building, and releasing user-facing features and scalable APIs. You will work closely with our Product and AI teams to build a mobile-first platform for millions of users around the world.

This is a hands-on role with a lot of freedom and responsibility. You will have a real impact and help shape both our product and our engineering culture from the beginning.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the founding team to help define the product direction.

• Build and maintain fast, high-quality React web interfaces with a mobile-first focus.

• Design and develop Node.js APIs and backend services.

• Connect frontend features with video and data systems.

• Support smooth 9:16 mobile video experiences.

• Own features end-to-end: from idea and design to development, testing, and launch.

• Write clean, well-structured, and easy-to-maintain code.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and AI engineers on short-form content features.

• Make technical decisions and take ownership of your work.

  
  

What You Need

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React, including Hooks and performance tuning.

• 3+ years of experience building backend systems with Node.js (such as Express or NestJS).

• Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Experience building APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.

• Experience with SQL databases (Postgres or MySQL) and NoSQL databases (like MongoDB).

• Experience deploying apps on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and scalable system design.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

• Experience building B2B or small business web platforms.

• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and thrive in a startup environment.

• Experience with React Native or other mobile frameworks.

• Experience with video platforms, streaming, or social apps.

• Basic knowledge of AI or ML integrations, such as LLMs.

• Experience with real-time features like WebSockets.

• Previous work on products used by millions of people.
