Pay and Benefits:

• Base salary: $80k – $100k

• Equity options: based on role and level

About Us:

We build easy-to-use, portable robotic systems for the welding and fabrication industry. Our goal is to create machines that work right away and are enjoyable for users. We design tools that welders and fabricators actually want to use, not tools forced by management.

Our main product is Mach 1, a portable and modular robotic arm with 3 degrees of freedom. It allows customers to cut metal anywhere and in any position. We plan to improve this product and also create new products to support our customers in other areas.

About the Role:

Our products combine hardware and software closely. As a frontend software engineer, you will build a fast and smooth user interface that customers enjoy. The controller is a web app that runs locally on the device and is shown on a control tablet.

As the main frontend engineer, you will learn what customers need and build their main way to control our devices. Good quality, strong performance, and attention to detail are very important.

You will be an early team member, so you will have a lot of responsibility. You will make technical decisions and take responsibility for the results. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to fix problems and add new features.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience with web frontend frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Svelte

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, and a good understanding of the DOM and performance debugging

• Experience building fast 2D or 3D applications, such as CAD tools, games, or data analysis software

• Strong computer science basics

• Interest in learning about our users (welders) and building digital tools that make their work easier
