We are currently looking for a Mid Python Developer (+Playwright) - 0.5 FTE- for a young startup - an e-commerce company developing an international SaaS platform related to management, analytics, and automation of sales processes. The platform is a tool that takes information from large online stores, as well as from the marketplace (including Google Shopping), and provides analytics and automation through this in terms of pricing policies, increasing sales in specific categories, markets, etc. The platform is easy to use for the user, but underneath it processes large datasets and on the basis of them provides valuable data for store owners quickly and intelligently. In its current phase, the platform is already functionally ahead of competing solutions and plans include global expansion, mainly into foreign markets. 

We are looking for a Python developer with knowledge of Playwright/Selenium who, will be self-starter, support the company at the current stage of development, contribute to this product ecosystem and SaaS application, appreciates working in a relaxed startup atmosphere and can work asynchronously.

🔷Responsibilities:

• Writing bots to scrape data from websites using Python and Playwright
• Working with processing data from websites
• Future-proofing development and code maintenance of a SaaS e-commerce platform
• Creating automated tests and E2E tests in Playwright (QA)
• Maintaining standards and ensuring the quality of the final product.

🎯Requirements:

• Min 2+ years of commercial experience as a Python Developer
• Experience working with Playwright or similar framework e.g. Selenium
• Experience in data scraping - Scrappy
• Independence in performing assigned tasks
• Willingness to work in a small team and dynamic start-up environment.
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop your skills.
• Ability to work and self-organize remotely
• Knowledge and application of good coding practices

Nice to have:

• Experience in developing applications in the Django framework
