Job Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Structured Storage Services team, you will design, build, and evolve the core data services that power metadata and client configuration storage for our cloud-native platform. You’ll work with C#, .NET, SQL, and Azure, developing and scaling a SQL Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) that underpins mission-critical workloads across the organization. You’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, and SREs to modernize data storage patterns, implement cloud-native best practices, and enhance developer productivity through automation and DevOps principles. Your work will directly influence the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our platform.
Job Description and Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain SQL PaaS platform and services for metadata and configuration storage
Collaborate with architects, SREs, and product teams to evolve the platform’s data architecture and enable developer productivity
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions to ensure system quality and maintainability
Apply object-oriented design principles (SOLID, OOP) and write high-quality, tested, and maintainable code in C# and .NET
Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD automation, observability, and deployment pipelines
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments
Continuously improving engineering standards and documentation, fostering knowledge sharing within the team
Identify, document, automate, and engineer processes for repetitive tasks
After gathering relevant experience, you will participate in regular on-call technical support shifts as a second line of support if Client Services is not able to solve an urgent issue
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in software development of commercial or enterprise-grade systems using C# and .NET
Proven experience building and maintaining cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP (e.g., App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Storage)
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
Solid grasp of object-oriented design principles (SOLID, OOP) and modern software engineering practices
Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting in production environments
Experience working in Agile teams, collaborating with engineers, architects, and SREs across the software lifecycle
Fluency in English, with strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-scale data storage patterns
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience designing or supporting SQL PaaS platforms or metadata/configuration storage systems
Exposure to cloud cost optimization, data reliability, and service performance tuning

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
181,000 and 271,000PLN
The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
